SELECTION FOR ULSTER SCHOOLS TENERIFE TOUR
A special well done to our Club members, Lucy Scott, Megan Morrison, Matthew Walker, Nicky Galloway and Peter Sands. All 5 represented their schools in the recent Ulster Secondary Schools Gala and have been selected as members of the Ulster Schools’ Swimming tour team to Tenerife in 2010.
Lucy(Wallace High School), Megan(Friends’ School, Lisburn), Matthew(Dromore High School), Nicky(Banbridge Academy) and Peter(Wallace High School).
Although the kids were flying the flag for their schools and not the LCSC Banner, we are nevertheless proud of them as Club swimmers. Their hard work and commitment in training paid off when they entered this competition. They now have a tremendous opportunity to go on a very special Tour. Ulster is taking the top 22 boys and girls this year and they will go to Tenerife in October.
We hope they have a fabulous tour and enjoy this wonderful opportunity and experience.
